Access To and Use of Soarent Products and Resources

User Access

Access is provided to various Soarent training products and resources on payment of fees specified on the 9 Skills Factory website (www.9skillsfactory.com). Upon payment, you will be provided with online access to the product or resource for as long as the platform remains active.

Resources

You agree that any and all resources on the 9 Skills Factory training platform, unless otherwise specifically designated, are the intellectual property of Soarent Vision Pty Ltd or George Lee Sye, and only used by you for personal use. You agree that you will not use, share, reproduce or distribute such resources in any way beyond personal use without the express permission of the Intellectual Property owner.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds – Online Purchases for Products

Please choose carefully when shopping at our online store as refunds of original purchase price less shipping and handling are only given on undamaged goods returned within 14 days of purchase.

Cancellation of a Contracted Event

Soarent Vision will commit fully to delivering in-house / contracted events in good faith. We understand that business priorities can change and recognise that such events might necessarily be cancelled for any number of reasons.

If cancellation or rescheduling of any contracted and scheduled work or event is necessary, we require at least 14 DAYS NOTICE.

In the event of any such cancellation or re-scheduling, all relevant NON-RECOVERABLE EXPENSES (e.g. for venues, travel, equipment hire etc) incurred by Soarent Vision are payable by the company cancelling the work.

In the event of any such cancellation or re-scheduling WITHIN THE 14-DAY NOTICE PERIOD, booked days that are not able to be re-allocated to another customer will be invoiced to the purchasing company at a rate of 100 percent of the quoted rate x number of days booked.

In the event of a session cancellation WITHIN 14-DAYS of the event commencing, any BOOKING DEPOSITS (if any) paid to Soarent Vision are non-refundable to the purchasing company.

 

For the duration of the COVID-19 Pandemic, all relevant EXPENSES (e.g. for venues, travel, accommodation, equipment hire etc) are payable by the customer company as incurred by Soarent Vision. If cancellation or rescheduling of any contracted and scheduled work or event is necessary due to Government mandated border closures, Government mandated quarantine or Government / Company or Airline mandated vaccination these expenses are NON-RECOVERABLE by the customer company.

Cancellation of Public Events

Soarent Vision will make every attempt to ensure events are not cancelled. In any case, cancellations can occur and Soarent Vision, who reserve the right to cancel a public event, will never do so without good reason or in good faith.

Reasons for cancellations include but are not limited to:

(a) The minimum participant number requirement is not met by the event confirmation date
(b) Withdrawal of a purchasing company from participation
(c) Purchasing company has not paid an invoiced amount (for a purchase order) within 30 day payment terms

Soarent Vision will make every effort to ensure cancellations do not occur after the relevant confirmation date for such event.

Refunds – Online Purchases for Public Training Events

In the unlikely circumstance that the event is cancelled by Soarent Vision after the purchase has been processed, Soarent Vision will arrange a refund of the full amount processed.

In the event the purchaser withdraws from the public training event before event confirmation, Soarent Vision will refund the amount less a 10 percent administration fee.

In the event the purchaser withdraws from the public training event after event confirmation but outside 28 days before the event, Soarent Vision will refund the amount less a 50 percent administration fee.

In the event the purchaser withdraws from the public training event after event confirmation but within 28 days before the event, refunds will be at the discretion of Soarent Vision.

Refunds – Purchase Orders for Public Training Events

Purchase orders (PO) for public course access must be lodged with Soarent Vision and invoices paid in full either:

(a) no later two calendar months before the scheduled event date, or
(b) no later than a date specified for any particular public event.

In the unlikely circumstance that the event is cancelled by Soarent Vision after the PO has been processed, Soarent Vision will arrange a refund of the full amount processed.

In the event the company withdraws from the public training event and the invoice has not been lodged by Soarent Vision, we agree to cancel the PO.

In the event the purchasing company withdraws from the public training event after (a) it has been confirmed by Soarent Vision and (b) the invoice paid by the customer, Soarent Vision will only provide a refund to the extent that the fee for minimum participant numbers as stipulated for each event is met.

In the event the purchasing company withdraws from the public training event after (a) it has been confirmed by Soarent Vision and (b)within 28 days before the event, Soarent Vision will not provide a refund.

Transfers

Applications to transfer training bookings can be made by applying in writing to learning@soarent.com.au. Each case will be treated on its merits and at the discretion of Soarent Vision.

Training and Certification

Access and Equity

Soarent Vision will attempt to meet any special requirements or needs of a customer as deemed reasonable and relevant.

Complaints and Appeals

If you have a complaint regarding the service provided or an appeal regarding the assessment conducted, you must submit your complaint and/or appeal in writing to Soarent Vision Training Coordinator for review via learning@soarent.com.au

Recognition of Prior Learning

If you think that you possess the competencies contained in some or all of the units in any course offered by Soarent Vision, you may make application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). RPL acknowledges skills, knowledge and experience gained through formal education, working experience (informal training) and life experience.

Relevant accredited qualifications / statements of attainment issued by other professional bodies or Registered Training Organisations will be recognised accordingly.
